Thank you for joining us on Fall 2022 Design Day, where our final semester project teams presented their completed projects. We had fantastic projects – everything from a system to monitor lakes, a system to assist caretakers with patients’ wheelchairs, a wearable system for stroke patients’ physical therapy, a distributed system to monitor and understand sunny day flooding in coastal regions, to an ultrasonic wood tester to musical instruments and interconnected robot networks. The following projects were presented on Fall 2022 Design Day.
IoT/Embedded | Circuits/Signal Processing | Robotics/Mechatronics |
---|---|---|
PurePanel | Electrostatic Precipitator Design for Air Purification | Gymnasium Floor Scuffing Solutions |
Interconnected Robot Network | Challenge Accepted: Uniting Thermoelectrics with Mechanical Compression and Materials Science for Drug-Free Pain Relieving Wearable | EmPowered Mobility |
Spatial extent monitoring of coastal sunny-day flooding | Ultrasonic Tester for Musical Instrument Wood Selection | IMU Sensor Testing “GyroCAT” |
BEST-Bluetooth Electromyography-Based Stroke Therapeutic Device | Diamond Optics | WaterNet23 |
Automated Plasma Reactor | Color Camera with Hexagonal Pixels (HexCam) | Foram Finders |
