Project 17: CTN: Telescope Simulator

Currently, a simulator of interconnected telescopes that can be used to follow up astronomical events does not exist. This restricts the ability to follow up and take action on astronomical events. The Cognitive Telescope Network Telescope Simulator has been created to fix this problem. It takes in a list of telescopes and filters that list of telescopes based on availability, simulated and real world weather events, and then then tiles the list. It then displays the telescopes on a graph which shows where the telescopes are pointing and what they are seeing. The telescope simulator is accessed through a JavaScript web page running on a Kubernetes cluster.
